I had such a lucky experience at this hotel! The courtyard with its beautiful doors and charming atmosphere instantly transported me to a timeless era. The room was incredibly spacious and the furniture added to the old-world charm. Waking up to the quiet lane just off the Spanish Steps was a dream come true. The location couldn't have been better, as we were able to explore the entire city on foot. The staff was always available and helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I return to this amazing destination. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

Location was excellent as was value for money. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast which was included was served each morning in room which was nice. Also food and drink was available for purchase at prices often lower than at restaurants or cafes.
As the hotel was in an older building air conditioning was provided by an in room floor unit. This was a minor issue.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the gothic area, making it central to many Roman attractions. Guests can easily walk to the Spanish Steps, Colosseum, or Vatican. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and large bathrooms. the friendly staff is always available at the front desk, providing helpful recommendations for restaurants and tourist attractions. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast served in their rooms. Plus, the hotel offers a secure and safe environment, giving peace of mind to families.
One minor inconvenience is that guests have to inform the door person of their return time if they plan to stay out after 2AM.

The staff were very helpful in nearly every way. The location promotes long walks through the historic district and the staff know all the shortcuts. Hotel facilities were adequate but no more than adequate and perhaps an upgrade will bring the facilities into line with the great staff.
The services you would normally expect of this type of hotel seemed a bit old and tired.

It is a charming hotel with lots of character. It is very secure. The staff are delightful and very helpful. It is in an excellent location near the Trevi fountain and spanish steps. Good restaurants close by. Good WiFi and free.
The shower recess is quite small are most in Europe. Lucky I am not very big.

The location was very ideal - just 2 minutes walk to the Spanish steps and very close to good cafes and restaurants.
The elevator is extremely small and takes a very long time to reach the 3rd floor - very uncomfortable when it is hot and stuffy outside. When we checked in we specifically asked for a open and light exposed room but instead we were given a small and very dark room. When we complained we were told that we could not be moved into a better room - not acceptable considering we booked the room months in advance! The beds were uncomfortable and very old. Breakfast was served in the room, which is an absolute joke - how can you possibly eat breakfast when there is no where to sit. The breakfast was very poor - 2 bread rolls, some stale orange flavoured croissants and the coffee was instant - very disappointing - isn't Italy the place to go for coffee? The bathroom was pathetic - the shower was tiny! you could hardly move around in there or bend over to shave your legs. Another negative was that we had to hand our keys to reception every time we left the room and then pick them up again when we returned. All in all, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Cannot say a bad word about this hotel. The staff were exceptional, the standard of cleanliness was excellent and the breakfast brought to the room every morning was always very fresh, their coffees and freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing! The location is a two minute walk from the Spanish Steps and five minutes from the Trevi fountain. With numerous bars/cafes/restaurants around the area I would say it was ideally situated in a relatively quiet typically narrow cobbled Roman street. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Rome.

Shower was loose and needed repairing and can be difficult to find.

Great location and good value. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to major tourist sites and public transportation. , you get a lot for your money here – comfortable and clean accommodations at affordable rates. The breakfast served in room is a nice touch and a perfect way to start your day.
Not worth the noise. Unfortunately, despite the great location and value, I wouldn't stay here again due to the noise.

The location was excellent only steps from the Spanish Steps in Rome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The value for the price is once of the best I have encountered in Rome. The lobby and sitting area has a computer and free wifi for guests. The staff made great recommendations on local restaurants and arrangements a car for our return to the airport.
The breakfast was very simple...buns, yogurt, cheese and coffee. It was included in the hotel price (€8). I would probably opt out of the breakfast next time.
